Twaga is an online collaborative storytelling system.
"Twaga" comes from "Twitter Saga". However the idea isn't limited to Twitter, just birthed there.
Twaga is currently "Balpha". It's Alpha enough to assume things may break, but Beta enough to be public and useful. Plus I like coming up with new words.
Just tweet and include "@twaga" in the message. It will add the tweet to whatever story you last wrote for, or if this is your first @twaga, it will create a brand new story for you.
Usage Example:
"It was sunny all day long on that day, as if the skies above were unaware of what was about to happen. @twaga"
"Gerald watched from his automobile as the rosy fingers of dusk crawled over the mountains @twaga"
If you reply to a tweet that has "@twaga" in it, and include "@twaga" yourself, you will add your tweet to that story.
If you reply to an existing tweet, and this tweet isn't an @twaga tweet, it will start a new story, with the original tweet's content as the start, your reply as the continuation and you as the creator.
I keep my working todo list for Twaga on Remember The Milk. Some more long-term features for the future include:
